Regulations on Handicraft Production Zones and Concentrated Industrial Clusters in Construction Planning
Provisions on handicraft production areas and concentrated industrial clusters within construction planning are specified in Section 2.16.8 QCVN 01:2021/BXD National Technical Regulation on Construction Planning issued together with Circular 01/2021/TT-BXD. To be specific:
- Handicraft production facilities that do not cause environmental pollution can be arranged within residential areas, in the auxiliary houses of each household;
- Production facilities that adversely affect the environment must be arranged in clusters, outside residential areas, near transportation hubs;
- The environmental safety distance (ESD) of handicraft production areas and concentrated industrial clusters must ensure the safety distance concerning the environment (sanitation isolation distance) as stipulated in Point 2.5.2 as applied to industrial zones and warehouses.
