Is it possible to obtain a practicing certificate in building design for those majoring in electrical engineering?
According to Clause 3, Article 2 of Circular 08/2018/TT-BXD, individuals requesting a construction project design practice certificate must have expertise in the following disciplines:
- Architectural design of constructions: The relevant training must be in the field of architecture;
- Structural design of civil - industrial constructions: The relevant training must be in the field of construction where the curriculum includes subjects on the types of civil - industrial construction structures;
- Mechanical - electrical design of constructions: The relevant training must be in the technical specialty related to the design of electrical, mechanical, and ventilation - heating and cooling systems;
- Water supply - drainage design of constructions: The relevant training must be in the technical specialty related to water supply and drainage design;
- Traffic construction design: The relevant training must be in the field of traffic construction;
- Agricultural and rural development construction design: The relevant training must be in the field of construction related to the design of agricultural and rural development constructions;
- Technical infrastructure construction design: The relevant training must be in the technical specialty related to the design of technical infrastructure constructions.
=> Therefore, having graduated with a university degree in electrical engineering meets the qualification requirements for being issued a construction project design practice certificate. However, please note that you are only allowed to practice in the field of mechanical - electrical design of constructions.
The above is the support content!
Sincerely!
