Is a Degree in Construction Engineering Sufficient for Obtaining a Certification in Construction Supervision?
Based on Clause 4, Article 2 of Circular 08/2018/TT-BXD, individuals applying for a construction supervision practice certificate must have expertise in the following specialized fields:
- Supervision of construction work: Specialization trained in one of the following fields: construction of works, construction economics, architecture, other construction engineering specialties related to construction of works;
- Supervision of equipment installation in works: Specialization trained in one of the following fields: electricity, mechanics, ventilation - heat supply and drainage, water supply and drainage, other technical specialties related to equipment installation in works.
=> Therefore, by graduating with a university degree in construction of works, you meet the professional qualifications condition for being granted a construction supervision practice certificate when you have sufficient experience and are active in the field of construction supervision.
