Apartment building is a building with 2 stories or more, consisting of multiple apartments, with common walkways, staircases, private ownership parts, shared ownership parts, and a system of common infrastructure works used by families, individuals, organizations. This includes apartment buildings constructed for residential purposes and apartment buildings constructed for mixed-use purposes, both residential and commercial.
Thus, constructing a building with 2 stories or more and meeting the above criteria is considered an apartment building in accordance with housing law.
