Guidance on Applying for a Construction Permit for Renovating Factories

Based on the provisions of Clause 30 Article 1 of the Amended Construction Law 2020, the case of constructing an extension or renovating a factory requires applying for a construction permit, specifically a Permit for Repair and Renovation.

Regarding the procedures, based on the provisions of Article 96, Article 102 of the Construction Law 2014, Article 12 of Circular 15/2016/TT-BXD, the procedures to apply for a construction permit for repair and renovation are as follows:

- Dossier (02 sets):

+ Application for the permit to repair and renovate the project or house, according to the form in Appendix No. 1 of Circular 15/2016/TT-BXD.

+ A copy or a file containing a scan of one of the documents proving ownership, administration, and use of the project or house according to the provisions of the law, or a copy of the construction permit issued by the competent state authority.

+ A copy or a file containing a scan of the approved current status drawings of the parts or items of the project to be repaired or renovated, at a scale corresponding to the scale of the drawings in the application dossier, and photographs (10 x 15 cm) of the current status of the project and adjacent structures before repair and renovation.
