Design Dossier for Single-Family Houses Under 3 Stories: Are They Subject to Structural Safety Verification?

According to Point a, Clause 2, Article 9 of Decree 06/2021/ND-CP concerning the design and construction of individual residential houses by households and individuals, it is stipulated as follows:

For individual residential houses of households and individuals without basements, with a total construction floor area of less than 250 m2, or under 3 stories, or with a height of less than 12m, the investor in the construction of individual residential houses is allowed to organize and implement the construction design themselves.

Thus, for individual residential houses of households and individuals under 3 stories, the design documentation does not need to undergo safety inspection of the construction content, and the investor in the construction is permitted to organize and implement the construction design themselves.
