Confirmation of Completion of Construction Warranty: What Are the Regulations?

Pursuant to Clause 5, Article 29 of Decree 06/2021/ND-CP stipulating the certification of completion of construction project warranty as follows:

- Upon the expiration of the warranty period, the construction contractor and equipment supplier contractor shall prepare a report on the completion of the warranty work and submit it to the investor. The investor is responsible for certifying the completion of the construction project warranty for the contractor in writing and refunding the warranty money (or releasing the equivalent value bank warranty letter) to the contractors in case the inspection and acceptance results of the construction contractor, equipment supplier contractor as prescribed in Clause 4, Article of this Decree meet the requirements;

- The owner or the person managing and using the project is responsible for participating in the certification of the completion of the construction project warranty for the construction contractor and equipment supplier contractor upon the investor's request.
