What is the penalty for illegal car racing?

According to the provisions of Clause 2 and Clause 4, Article 34 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP:

A fine ranging from VND 7,000,000 to VND 8,000,000 shall be imposed on individuals participating in illegal motorcycle, moped, or electric bike racing.

Furthermore, performing the acts stipulated in Clause 2 and Clause 3 of this Article shall result in the deprivation of the right to use the driver's license for 03 months to 05 months and the confiscation of the vehicle.

Thus, the penalty for individuals participating in illegal car racing can range from VND 7 million to VND 8 million. In the event you violate but there are no mitigating or aggravating circumstances, the fine amount will be the average of the range, equivalent to VND 7.5 million (Clause 4, Article 23 of the Law on Handling Administrative Violations 2012).
