What are the Penalties for Changing Vehicle Paint Color?

Pursuant to Clause 2b, Article 30 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP stipulating fines ranging from VND 300,000 to VND 400,000 for individuals, and from VND 600,000 to VND 800,000 for organizations that are the owners of cars, tractors, specialized motorcycles, and other types of vehicles similar to cars for the act of arbitrarily changing the vehicle's paint color that is not in accordance with the color recorded in the Vehicle Registration Certificate.

Thus, arbitrarily changing the vehicle's paint color incurs a fine ranging from VND 300,000 to VND 400,000 for individuals, and from VND 600,000 to VND 800,000 for organizations that are the owners of cars, tractors, specialized motorcycles, and other types of vehicles similar to cars.

Additionally, it is required to restore the brand and paint color recorded in the Vehicle Registration Certificate as regulated.
