According to Point d, Clause 4, Article 6 of Decree 96/2020/ND-CP (effective from October 10, 2020), the regulation is as follows:
"4. A fine ranging from 2,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND shall be imposed for one of the following acts:
...
dd) Filming, taking photos, measuring, sketching scenery, or recording illegally with electronic devices, radio transmitters in prohibited areas."
Thus, the act of illegal filming or recording in prohibited areas of the land border will be fined from 2,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND. Additionally, violators may have their materials and means of violation confiscated (in this case, phones, cameras, recording devices, etc.) as stipulated in Point a, Clause 11 of this Article.
