Riding a Motorcycle at What Time Without Headlights Results in a Fine?
Point l Clause 1 Article 6 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP stipulates:
Sanctions for operators of motorcycles, mopeds (including electric bicycles), types of vehicles similar to motorcycles, and types of vehicles similar to mopeds that violate road traffic rules include:
Failure to use headlights from 7:00 PM the previous day to 5:00 AM the next day or during fog, adverse weather conditions that limit visibility.
According to this regulation, the mandatory time to use headlights when operating motorcycles is from 7:00 PM the previous day to 5:00 AM the next day.
Violations will be fined from 100,000 VND to 200,000 VND. In cases where the violation causes a traffic accident, the driver’s license may be revoked for 2 months to 4 months (Point c Clause 10 of this Article).
