Penalties for speeding violations from 2020 in Vietnam
Point d Clause 1 Article 26 of the 2008 Road Traffic Law in Vietnam strictly prohibits vehicle operators, motorized vehicles from exceeding the regulated speed limits.
Instances where vehicle operators participating in traffic exceed the allowed speed limits are considered legal violations and are subject to penalties according to regulations.
Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, effective from January 1, 2020, specifies the penalties as follows:
