Penalties for Non-Payment of Mandatory Health Insurance Premiums
According to Clause 1 Article 80 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP (Effective from November 15, 2020), the provisions are as follows:
Warning or a fine ranging from 300,000 VND to 500,000 VND for the act of not paying health insurance for individuals who are required to participate in health insurance.
Therefore, an individual who does not pay health insurance for those required to participate in health insurance may be subject to a warning or a fine of up to 500,000 VND. This fine is applicable to individuals (Clause 5 Article 4 of this Decree).
