Penalties for Information Destruction in the Cyber Environment
According to Clause 2, Article 75 of Decree 15/2020/ND-CP (effective from April 15, 2020), this content is stipulated as follows:
- A fine ranging from VND 140,000,000 to VND 170,000,000 shall be imposed on acts of vandalizing information infrastructure or damaging information in the online environment.
- Remedial measure: The entity committing the violation specified in Clause 2 of this Article is required to restore the initial state that was altered due to the violation.
Thus, acts of damaging information in the online environment will be fined between VND 140 million and VND 170 million. The initial state that was altered due to the violation must be restored.
