Penalties for Driving in the Opposite Direction on a Road with a No-Entry Sign: How Much?
At Point c Clause 5 Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
Article 5. Penalties for drivers of cars and vehicles similar to cars violating road traffic rules
- A fine ranging from 3,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND shall be imposed on the driver who commits one of the following violations:
Driving in the opposite direction on a one-way street, driving in the opposite direction on roads with a "No entry" sign, except for violations specified at Point a Clause 8 of this Article and cases where priority vehicles are performing urgent duties as prescribed;
- In addition, the above violation will result in the suspension of the driver's license for 02 to 04 months.
