Penalties for Driving a Car While Towing Another Object

At Point h Clause 3 and Point c Clause 11 Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:

A fine ranging from 800,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND shall be imposed on drivers committing any of the following violations:

Driving a car towing another vehicle**,** object (except in case of towing a trailer, semi-trailer, or another car, special-use vehicle when such vehicle is unable to move on its own); driving a car pushing another vehicle, object; driving a towing vehicle with a trailer, semi-trailer towing an additional trailer or another vehicle, object; failing to securely, safely connect the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle;

In case the above-mentioned violations cause a traffic accident, the driver's license shall be revoked for a period ranging from 02 months to 04 months.
