Penalties for Driving a Car Slower Than Vehicles Moving in the Same Direction Without Keeping to the Right
According to Point b, Clause 2, and Point c, Clause 11, Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
- A fine of 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND will be imposed on drivers committing one of the following violations, including:
Operating a vehicle at a slower speed than other vehicles traveling in the same direction without keeping to the right side of the roadway, except in cases where other vehicles in the same direction are exceeding the speed limit;
- In case the aforementioned violation causes a traffic accident, the driver's license will be revoked for a period of 2 months to 4 months.
