Operating a Truck with a Trailer Pulling Another Vehicle: What is the Penalty?

At Point h Clause 3 and Point c Clause 11 Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:

A fine of VND 800,000 to 1,000,000 shall be imposed on the driver who commits one of the following violations:

Driving a car towing another vehicle or object (except in cases of towing a trailer, semi-trailer, or another car or specialized motorbike when that vehicle cannot run on its own); driving a car pushing another vehicle or object; driving a car towing a trailer, semi-trailer towing an additional trailer or another vehicle, or object; not securely and safely connecting the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle when towing.

In case of violating the above regulations and causing a traffic accident, the driver's license shall be revoked for 02 to 04 months.
