How to Steer the Vehicle Correctly According to the Law
Based on Article 15 of the 2008 Road Traffic Law, which regulates turning directions when operating a vehicle. To be specific:
- When intending to turn, the vehicle operator must reduce speed and signal the intended direction.
- During the turn, the vehicle driver or operator of specialized machinery must yield the right of way to pedestrians and cyclists traveling in their designated areas, yield to oncoming vehicles, and only proceed with the turn when it is clear that doing so will not cause obstacles or danger to other people and vehicles.
- Within residential areas, vehicle drivers and operators of specialized machinery are only permitted to make U-turns at intersections and places where there are signs allowing U-turns.
- U-turns are prohibited in crosswalks, on bridges, at bridgeheads, under overpasses, in tunnels, on highways, and at places where roads intersect with railways at the same level, at narrow roads, on slopes, and on curved sections with obscured vision.
Sincerely!
