How much is the fine for a construction material transport vehicle dropping soil and rocks onto the road?
According to Clause 2, Article 20 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP stipulating penalties for drivers of cars, tractors, and similar vehicles violating environmental protection regulations while participating in traffic, a fine ranging from VND 2,000,000 to VND 4,000,000 shall be imposed for any of the following violations:
- Letting lubricants, chemicals spill onto the roadway;
- Transporting loose goods, waste, or construction materials prone to spillage without a cover or tarpaulin, or with a cover or tarpaulin but still allowing spillage; transporting goods or waste that causes water to flow onto the road surface, leading to traffic safety and environmental hygiene issues;
