How is the release of films with confiscation decisions penalized?

Based on Clause 5, Article 7 of Decree 38/2021/ND-CP, it is stipulated:

A fine ranging from 20,000,000 VND to 25,000,000 VND shall be imposed for the act of distributing films that have been decided to be revoked, confiscated, banned from dissemination, or destroyed.

Thus, the act of distributing films that have been decided to be confiscated will be fined from 20,000,000 VND to 25,000,000 VND.

Please note, this penalty applies to individuals who commit the violation; in the case of an organization committing the violation, the fine will be doubled (Clause 2, Article 5 of this Decree).

Additionally, it is mandatory to destroy harmful cultural products and to surrender any illegal profits obtained (Points b, c Clause 7, Article 7 of this Decree).
