What is the VNeID application in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Clause 12 Article 3 of the Decree 59/2022/NĐ-CP stipulating electronic identification and authentication as follows:

What information is included in the electronic identification in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 7 of the Decree 59/2022/NĐ-CP, Vietnamese citizen’s eID contains the followings:
- Personal information:
+ Personal identity number;
+ First, middle and last name;
+ Date (day, month, year) of birth;
+ Gender.
- Biometric data:
+ Personal portrait;
+ Fingerprint.
Pursuant to Article 8 of the Decree 59/2022/NĐ-CP, Foreigner’s eID contains the followings:
- Personal information:
+ ID number;
+ Last, middle and first name;
+ Date (day, month, year) of birth;
+ Gender;
+ Nationality;
+ Number, sign, date (day, month, year), type of paper and place of issue of passport or other international travel document.
- Biometric data:
+ Personal portrait;
+ Fingerprint.
Pursuant to Article 9 of the Decree 59/2022/NĐ-CP, non-person entity’s eID contains the followings:
- Its eID code.
- Its name, including Vietnamese name, abbreviated name (if any) and international name (if any).
- Date of establishment (day, month, year).
- Head office address.
- Personal ID number or ID number of the foreigner; first, middle and last name of the legal representative or the head of the non-person entity.

Driving license; Certificate of legal knowledge training on road traffic, Diploma, Certificate of operating specialized motorbikes; Vehicle registration certificate or certified copy of Vehicle registration certificate with original valid receipt from the credit institution (during the time the credit institution keeps the original vehicle registration certificate); Inspection certificate, technical safety and environmental protection inspection stamp, Certificate of validity period of the Inspection Certificate and Inspection stamp (for types of vehicles that require inspection); Compulsory insurance certificate for motor vehicle owner's civil liability and other relevant necessary documents according to regulations (hereinafter referred to as documents). When the databases are connected to the electronic identification and authentication system, information about the status of the papers can be determined, the control through checking and comparing the information of those documents in the account e-identity has the same value as the direct check of documents;

Thus, when the databases are connected to the electronic identification and authentication system, if information about the status of documents can be determined, control through checking and comparing information of those documents in the electronic identification account is as valuable as directly checking the documents.
What are regulations on the content of traffic police patrol in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 12 of the Circular 32/2023/TT-BCA stipulating the contents of patrol and control as follows:
- Observe and grasp the situation of traffic order and safety on road traffic routes;
- Prevent violations, traffic accidents, traffic jams;
- Maintain road traffic order and safety;
- Detect, prevent, and handle violations of road traffic laws and other violations of law according to regulations;
- Ensure order, traffic safety, security and order on road traffic routes;
- Help and support people and vehicles participating in road traffic when necessary;
- Carry out other tasks assigned by competent authorities according to regulations.
