Driving a Trailer-Dragging Vehicle with Additional Trailer – What are the Penalties?
At Point h Clause 3 and Point c Clause 11 Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
A fine ranging from VND 800,000 to 1,000,000 shall be imposed on the driver who commits one of the following violations:
Driving a car towing another vehicle or object (except in cases of towing a trailer, semi-trailer, or another car or specialized motorbike when that vehicle cannot run on its own); driving a car pushing another vehicle or object; driving a car towing a trailer, semi-trailer towing an additional trailer or another vehicle or object; failing to securely and safely connect the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle when towing;
In case of violation of the above regulations causing a traffic accident, the driving license shall be revoked for 02 to 04 months.
