Dismantling of Border Facility Equipment Fined 30 Million VND

According to Clause 6, Article 10, Decree 96/2020/ND-CP (effective from October 10, 2020), it is stipulated:

"6. A fine ranging from 20,000,000 VND to 30,000,000 VND shall be imposed for acts of demolishing, disassembling, or damaging the structure or equipment of border works that have not yet reached the level of criminal prosecution."

Thus, any individual who demolishes equipment of border works that have not yet reached the level of criminal prosecution will be fined from 20,000,000 to 30,000,000 VND depending on the severity of the violation.

Additionally, supplementary penalties such as confiscation of the violating materials and means (if any) will be applied according to Point a, Clause 8 of this Article, and measures to remedy the consequences by restoring the original state or bearing the costs to restore the original state as stipulated in Clause 9 of this Article.
