Destruction and Alteration of Original Elements Constituting Historical - Cultural Monuments: What are the Penalties?
Pursuant to Point a, Clause 7, Article 20 of Decree 38/2021/ND-CP stipulates:
A fine ranging from VND 40,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 shall be imposed for acts of destruction or alteration of the original elements constituting historical-cultural relics and scenic spots.
Thus, acts of destruction or alteration of the original elements constituting historical-cultural relics will be fined from VND 40,000,000 to VND 50,000,000.
Note, this fine applies to individual violators, in cases where the violation is committed by an organization, the fine will be doubled (Clause 2, 3 Article 5 of this Decree).
