Compilation of Remedial Measures in the Veterinary Field
Clause 3, Article 3 of Decree 90/2017/ND-CP regulating administrative sanctions in the veterinary field issued by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam stipulates measures for remedying consequences in the veterinary field as follows:
- Mandatory sampling and testing of animal diseases;
- Mandatory re-quarantine of animals and animal products;
- Mandatory import of animals and animal products through the correct checkpoints;
- Mandatory suspension of animal slaughter;
- Mandatory compulsory slaughter of animals; obligatory thermal treatment of animal products; mandatory veterinary hygiene inspection of animal products;
- Mandatory handling of preliminary processing and processing of animals and animal products;
- Mandatory re-export of animals and animal products;
- Mandatory veterinary hygiene treatment of animal products;
- Mandatory recall and recycling of veterinary drugs that do not meet the quality standards as declared or the corresponding technical standards;
- Mandatory recall and destruction of raw materials for veterinary drugs, raw materials for medical drugs, and medical drugs;
- Mandatory labeling of veterinary drugs conformably.
- Mandatory restoration of the original condition;
- Mandatory dismantling of constructions or parts of constructions built without a permit or not in accordance with the permit;
- Mandatory implementation of measures to remedy environmental pollution and epidemic spread;
- Mandatory removal from the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or re-exportation of goods, items, and vehicles;
- Mandatory destruction of goods and items harmful to human health, livestock, plants, and the environment, cultural products with harmful content;
- Mandatory correction of false or misleading information;
- Mandatory removal of violating elements on goods, packaging, business facilities, and items;
- Mandatory recall of products and goods that do not ensure quality;
- Mandatory restitution of illicit gains obtained from administrative violations or mandatory restitution of the value of materials, means of administrative violations that were consumed, dispersed, or illegally destroyed.
The above addresses the content regarding measures to remedy consequences in the veterinary field. Based on each case, the competent authority will decide to apply one or multiple remedial measures.
