Article 15. The highest military rank for positions, titles of officers
- The highest military rank for positions, titles of officers is prescribed as follows:
a) General, not more than 03, including:
Minister of National Defense;
Chief of the General Staff; Director of the General Political Department;
b) Senior Lieutenant General, Navy Admiral, not more than 14, including:
Deputy Minister of National Defense with the highest rank of Senior Lieutenant General, Navy Admiral: not more than 06;
Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Deputy Director of the General Political Department: each position not more than 03;
Director, Political Commissar of the National Defense Academy;
c) Positions, titles with the highest rank of Lieutenant General, Navy Vice Admiral; Major General, Navy Rear Admiral: not more than 398;
d) The positions, titles specified at points h, i, k, l, m, n, o, p, q and r clause 1 Article 11 of this Law and equivalent positions, titles with the highest rank of Colonel, Officer rank.
