Vietnam: A maximum fine of 1,000,000 VND may be imposed for allowing children to use steam guns
According to Clause 1c, Clause 8a, Article 10 of Decree 167/2013/ND-CP, the regulations are as follows:
- A fine ranging from 500,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND shall be imposed for any of the following acts:
+ Allowing children to use prohibited dangerous toys.
- According to Decision 88/2000/QD-BTM, water guns, steam guns; guns that emit light or produce explosive sounds are prohibited toys in Vietnam.
- Confiscating the exhibits or means used for administrative violation for the acts specified at Point c, Clause 1, Point b, Clause 2, Point d, dd, g, Clause 3, Point a, c, d, Clause 4, 5 and 6 of this Article.
Thus, a fine ranging from 500,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND may be imposed for allowing children to use steam guns in Vietnam, and exhibits or means used for administrative violations will be confiscated as prescribed.
