How are beauty contests with content that insults religious beliefs penalized?

Based on Clause 7, Article 12 of Decree 38/2021/ND-CP, it is stipulated that:

A fine ranging from VND 40,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 shall be imposed for organizing beauty contests or modeling competitions that distort history, independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity; deny revolutionary achievements; offend beliefs and religion; or insult leaders, national heroes, and famous figures.

Thus, in the case of organizing beauty contests that insult beliefs, a fine ranging from VND 40,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 shall be imposed.

Note that this penalty applies to individual violators. In the case of organizational violations, the penalty will be doubled (Clauses 2 and 3, Article 5 of the same Decree).

Additionally, the activity of organizing beauty contests shall be suspended from 6 months to 12 months (Clause 8) and the illegal profits shall be confiscated (Point d, Clause 9 of this Article 12).
