Fines for Dumping Trash into Drainage Systems
Point c Clause 2 Article 7 of Decree 167/2013/ND-CP stipulates penalties for violations of public sanitation regulations as follows:
A fine ranging from VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000 shall be imposed for one of the following acts:
Disposing of garbage, waste, or any other materials into catch pits, public drainage systems, on sidewalks, or roadways.
Therefore, anyone who disposes of garbage into public drainage systems shall be fined from VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000. Additionally, they are required to restore the drainage system to its original state as specified in Point b Clause 3 of this Article.
