How will Bank Penalized for Lending Transaction Accounts?
Pursuant to Article 26 of Decree 88/2019/ND-CP, the regulations are as follows:
- A fine ranging from VND 40,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of leasing or lending from 01 payment account to less than 10 payment accounts.
- A fine ranging from VND 50,000,000 to VND 100,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of leasing or lending 10 or more payment accounts.
- Remedial Measures: Requiring the repayment to the state budget of any illicit gains obtained from the violation.
=> As such, depending on the severity of the violation, the competent authorities will impose a fine ranging from VND 40,000,000 to VND 100,000,000, and require the repayment of any illicit benefits obtained.
