What are the contents of market regulations in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 10 of the Decree 60/2024/ND-CP stipulating market regulations:
Market Regulations
1. Market regulations must include the following main contents:
a) Opening hours;
b) Rights and obligations of business traders in the market;
c) Regulations on goods and services traded in the market;
d) Regulations on individuals participating in transactions, buying and selling, visiting, and performing official duties in the market;
e) Regulations for market management officials and staff;
f) Fire prevention and firefighting, disaster prevention;
g) Security and order in the market;
h) Environmental sanitation and food safety;
i) Civilized commercial market, code of conduct;
j) Requirements for organizing and participating in cultural and social activities in the market;
k) Regulations on handling violations in the market;
l) Other provisions.
2. Market regulations must be publicly posted, clearly visible, and easily observable in the market, and must be disseminated to business traders in the market.
3. Organizations and individuals participating in trading, exchange of goods, and services in the market, as well as relevant organizations and individuals, must comply with the provisions of the law and market regulations.
4. Violations of market regulations shall be handled by the market management organization within its jurisdiction.
5. The provincial People's Committee shall issue a standard market regulation to ensure the uniformity of market regulations and their application to all markets within their jurisdiction.
Therefore, market regulations will be issued by the provincial People's Committee and applied to all markets within the jurisdiction. They must be publicly posted, clearly visible, and easily observable in the market, and must be disseminated to business traders in the market. The market regulations include the following main contents:

What are the authorities and responsibilities of the market management organization in Vietnam?
In Article 9 of Decree 60/2024/ND-CP, the authorities and responsibilities of the market management organization are as follows:
- Organizing and implementing the management of the market and services serving the market's activities in accordance with the provisions of this Decree and related laws.
- Carrying out renovation, upgrading, maintenance, and preservation of the market as prescribed; ensuring fire prevention and firefighting, environmental sanitation, protection of water resources, security and order, food safety, and measurement within the market and business areas.
- Establishing market regulations in accordance with Article 10 of Decree 60/2024/ND-CP, organizing the operation of the market according to market regulations, and handling violations of market regulations within its jurisdiction.
- Signing and implementing contracts with traders regarding the lease and use of business points at the market and other services as prescribed by law.
- Disseminating information on relevant policies and laws to business traders in the market.
- Coordinating with relevant authorities in implementing regulations on disease prevention and control.
- Compiling and reporting the market's operational situation as required by the competent authorities.
- Maintaining the market's operations to ensure the normal conditions for trading and exchanging goods, as well as complying with the requirements of the competent authorities in necessary cases.
- In addition to the aforementioned obligations, the market management organization, as stipulated in Clause 1, Clause 2 of Article 15, Article 24, and Article 25 of Decree 60/2024/ND-CP, is responsible for managing and using state assets in accordance with the provisions of the law.
