What is Technology Evaluation?
The definition of technology assessment is stipulated in Clause 17, Article 2 of the Law on Technology Transfer 2017, accordingly:
Technology assessment is the activity of determining the level, economic efficiency, and impact of technology on the environment, economy, and society.

High technology is a technology with a high content of scientific research and technology development; integrated from modern scientific and technological achievements; produces products of superior quality, functionality, and high added value, environmentally friendly; and plays an important role in the formation of new manufacturing and service industries or the modernization of existing manufacturing and service sectors.
Clean technology is a technology that emits low levels of environmental pollutants as regulated by law on standards and technical regulations, and uses fewer non-renewable resources compared to existing technology.
