The definition of clean technology is stipulated in Clause 5, Article 2 of the Law on Technology Transfer 2017, according to which:
Clean technology is technology that emits low levels of pollutants into the environment as prescribed by law on standards and technical regulations, and utilizes fewer non-renewable resources compared to existing technology.
