Understanding New Technology in Legal Terms
The definition of new technology is stipulated in Clause 4, Article 2 of the Law on Technology Transfer 2017, whereby:
New technology is a technology that is created or applied for the first time in Vietnam or in the world, possessing a higher level than the existing similar technologies in Vietnam, environmentally friendly, practical application, and capable of enhancing productivity and product quality.
