Purpose of the National Archives Document Disclosure Program to Serve the Construction, Development of Socio-Economic Affairs, and Protection of National Sovereignty
Based on Subsection 1, Section I, Article 1 of Decision 2194/QD-TTg of 2021, the purpose of the National Archives Document Disclosure Program to serve the construction, development of socio-economic affairs, and protection of national sovereignty is as follows:
Broadly disclose national archive documents to effectively promote the value of the documents, contributing to the construction and development of the country's socio-economic affairs, as well as those of each sector, locality, and region; preserve the cultural identity of Vietnam, educate the historical traditions of the nation to younger generations, contribute to firmly protecting national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Requirements of the National Archives Document Disclosure Program to Serve the Construction, Development of Socio-Economic Affairs, and Protection of National Sovereignty
Based on Subsection 2 of this Section, the requirements of the National Archives Document Disclosure Program to serve the construction, development of socio-economic affairs, and protection of national sovereignty are as follows:
a) Disclose national archive documents to serve the country's socio-economic development and protect national sovereignty;
b) Disclosure of archive documents must ensure honesty, high accuracy, and reliability in terms of content and format;
c) Disclosure of archive documents must be associated with the needs, purposes, audiences, and the reality of the country, as well as each sector, locality, and region;
d) Enhance the innovation in the method of disclosing archive documents in a creative, modern direction that is aligned with the development trend of information technology, integrating, sharing the published data of national archive documents, contributing to eliminating barriers of time and geographical space so that the public both domestically and internationally can quickly access archive information, meeting the needs of society, and serving the future construction and development of the country.
