Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (GSPA): What Are They?
Based on Clauses 12 and 13, Article 2 of Circular 57/2020/TT-BCT, the provisions are as follows:
- Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is an agreement that applies to the purchase and sale of electricity from each power plant specified in Appendix 3 of this Circular.
- Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) is an agreement for the sale of gas between the gas seller and the field owner to purchase domestically extracted natural gas for supply to the gas buyer (downstream gas consumers).
