Posting the Wrong Retail Price of Petrol: What Is the Fine?

According to Clause 1, Article 21 of Decree 99/2020/ND-CP (effective from October 11, 2020) stipulates as follows:

"1. A fine ranging from VND 5,000,000 to VND 10,000,000 shall be imposed on the act of posting retail gasoline prices that do not comply with the prices set by the primary traders or gasoline distributors."

Furthermore, according to Article 5 of this Decree: The fines stipulated in Chapters II, III, and IV of this Decree are applicable to organizations. In case the administrative violations are committed by individuals, the fine shall be half of the fine applicable to the organizations.

This Article 21 falls under Chapter III, hence the above-mentioned fine applies to organizations.

Therefore, any organization that posts retail gasoline prices that do not comply with the prices set by the primary traders or gasoline distributors shall be fined from VND 5,000,000 to VND 10,000,000.
