Placement of Stamps on Imported Alcohol and Domestically Produced Alcohol
Pursuant to Clause 3, Article 3 of Circular 15/2020/TT-BTC (Effective from May 07, 2020) regulating the placement of stamps on imported alcohol and domestically produced alcohol as follows:
- Alcohol stamps are to be placed across the area where the alcohol can be accessed from the product's packaging (bottle cap, jar lid, container lid, alcohol spout, or similar position) ensuring that when the seal is opened, the stamp will tear and cannot be reused.
- In the case of importing large barrels or tanks for bottling or producing finished alcohol, the barrels or tanks are not required to have stamps.
