Labeling on Goods or on Goods Packaging?
Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 7 of Decree 43/2017/ND-CP:
Goods imported into Vietnam that do not have labels displaying the mandatory contents in Vietnamese or have insufficient mandatory contents in Vietnamese must have supplementary labels showing the mandatory contents in Vietnamese and must retain the original labels of the goods. The contents written in Vietnamese must correspond to the contents on the original labels.
Regarding the position for affixing supplementary labels, it is implemented according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 8 of this Decree, specifically:
The supplementary labels must be attached to the goods or their commercial packaging and must not obscure the mandatory contents of the original labels.
Thus, according to the above regulation, the supplementary labels for the imported lollipop products of your enterprise can be affixed either on each lollipop or on the product packaging as long as they do not obscure the contents of the original labels. Usually, for small-sized products, enterprises often affix supplementary labels on the product packaging to ensure compliance with the law while maintaining the aesthetics of the product. ***
Sincerely!
