How to Label Genetically Modified Food on Product Labels
According to Article 10 of Circular No. 05/2019/TT-BKHCN (Effective from January 1, 2021) regulating the labeling of genetically modified foods on goods labels as follows:
Point e Clause 5 Appendix I issued together with Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP applies in the case of food containing genetically modified organisms or products of genetically modified organisms with at least one ingredient component being genetically modified more than five percent (5%) of the total ingredients used to produce the food.
