How to Indicate the Manufacturing Date and Expiration Date on Product Labels?
According to Article 13 of Circular 05/2019/TT-BKHCN (Effective from January 01, 2021), the method for recording the manufacturing date and expiration date on product labels is stipulated as follows:
Imported goods with the manufacturing date and expiration date information on the original label written in alphanumeric characters can have these characters annotated on the product's supplementary label without having to rewrite "NSX" and "HSD" in numeric characters.
Example: MFG 20 Jan 2020, EXP 20 Feb 2022, on the label should be noted as follows: NSX, HSD see "MFG", "EXP" on the packaging, Jan = 01, Feb = 02... Dec = 12.
