How many days is the transit time for goods in Vietnam?
According to Clause 1, Article 47 of the 2017 Law on Foreign Trade Management regarding the transit time of goods as follows:
The maximum transit time through the territory of Vietnam is 30 days from the date of customs clearance at the entry border gate, except in cases of extension; cases where goods are stored in Vietnam or are damaged or lost; or cases where the means of transport carrying the transiting goods are damaged during transit.
Thus, the maximum transit time of goods through the territory of Vietnam is 30 days (from the date of customs clearance at the entry border gate) and may be extended.
