How are Penalties Imposed for Operating Karaoke Services without the Required License?
Based on Point a, Clause 7, Article 15 of Decree 38/2021/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
A fine ranging from 20,000,000 VND to 25,000,000 VND shall be imposed for engaging in karaoke service business without a license as prescribed.
Thus, engaging in karaoke service business without a prescribed license shall be fined from 20,000,000 VND to 25,000,000 VND. Additionally, the illicit profits must be forfeited (Point b, Clause 10).
Note, this penalty applies to individual violations; in the case of organizational violations, the penalty shall be doubled (Clause 2, 3, Article 5 of this Decree).
