Thus, gas business organizations failing to notify customers when adjusting gas sale prices will be fined from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000.

Penalties for Supplying LNG to Customers Not Through a Pipeline

Question: According to current regulations, what are the penalties for gas business organizations that supply LNG to customers not through a pipeline?

Answer:

Based on Point b, Clause 4, Article 50 of Decree 99/2020/ND-CP, the following is stipulated:

A fine ranging from VND 60,000,000 to VND 100,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of supplying LNG, CNG to customers not through a pipeline, in accordance with the regulations.

This penalty is applicable to violating organizations (Article 5 of this Decree).

Thus, gas business organizations supplying LNG to customers not through a pipeline, as per regulations, will be fined from VND 60,000,000 to VND 100,000,000. Additionally, they must forfeit any illegal profits obtained from committing the violation (Clause 6 of this Article).

Penalties for Not Providing Customers with a Safety Manual for Gas Usage

Question: According to current regulations, what are the penalties for gas business organizations that do not provide customers with a safety manual for gas usage?

Answer:

Based on Point b, Clause 1, Article 50 of Decree 99/2020/ND-CP, the following is stipulated:

A fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of not providing customers with a safety manual for gas usage, or providing a safety manual that does not include the phone number of the gas station or the contact person at the gas station according to the regulations.

This penalty is applicable to violating organizations (Article 5 of this Decree).

Thus, gas business organizations failing to provide customers with a safety manual for gas usage will be fined from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000.
