The definition of commercialization of scientific research and technology development results is stipulated in Clause 11, Article 2 of the Law on Technology Transfer 2017, as follows:
Commercialization of scientific research and technology development results refers to the activity of exploiting, perfecting, applying, transferring, and other activities related to the results of scientific research and technology development for the purpose of profit.
