Club rooms in bars must lock doors inside
According to Article 5 of Decree 54/2019/ND-CP on the conditions for operating a dance club service as follows:
- It must be an enterprise or household business established in accordance with the provisions of law.
- Ensure conditions on fire prevention and fighting, security, and order as stipulated in Decree 96/2016/ND-CP dated July 1, 2016, of the Government of Vietnam on conditions for security and order for certain conditional business lines.
- The dance room must have a usable area of 80 m2 or more, excluding auxiliary works.
- There must not be any door latches inside the dance room or installation of alarm devices (except for fire alarm devices).
- The business location must be at least 200 meters away from schools, hospitals, religious establishments, belief institutions, cultural-historical relics.
Therefore, at the bar, the dance room must not have interior door latches. The bar you visited has complied with regulations.
