Can a graduate of the College of Foreign Economic Relations become an auctioneer?
According to Article 10 of the 2016 Property Auction Law, auctioneers must meet the following standards:
- Vietnamese citizens residing permanently in Vietnam, complying with the Constitution and the law, and possessing good moral character;
- Possess a university degree or higher in one of the specializations in law, economics, accounting, finance, or banking;
- Graduated from an auctioneer training course stipulated in Article 11 of this Law, except in cases exempted from auctioneer training as stipulated in Article 12 of this Law;
- Meet the requirements in the assessment of internship results in the auctioneer profession.
According to this regulation, an auctioneer must possess a university degree or higher in one of the specializations in law, economics, accounting, finance, or banking.
Therefore, holding an associate degree in foreign economic relations does not meet the conditions to become an auctioneer.
Sincerely!
