When is the scope of professional activities in the medical certificate supplemented?
At Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree 155/2018/ND-CP amending regulations related to business investment conditions under the state management scope of the Ministry of Health, it is stipulated as follows.
The dossier for requesting additional scope of professional activities in the practicing certificate includes:
- An application form for adding the scope of professional activities in the practicing certificate according to Form 05, Appendix I issued with this Decree;
- A valid copy of the already issued practicing certificate;
- A valid copy of the diploma, certificate, or training certificate issued by a legally recognized training institution with a minimum training period of 6 months suitable to the scope of professional activities requested for addition.
= Thus, according to the above regulation, you will be able to add the scope of obstetrics and gynecology to your professional practice when you have a diploma, certificate, or training certificate from an obstetrics and gynecology training institution. In your case, having a practice period at a specialized maternity hospital does not meet the conditions for adding professional activities to your medical practicing certificate. Regards.
