In case the flag is hung on a pole, the statue of President Ho Chi Minh is placed in front of the right side of the flag pole (viewed from below). The Elderly Association logo is placed front and center above the ceremony title (25-30cm away).

3. The ceremony title is shown in capital letters on the background to the right of the stage.

4. Title content is shown by age as follows:

a) Fully 70 years old and full 75 years old: longevity celebration for elderly 70 to 75 years old;

b) Fully 80 years old and full 85 years old: longevity celebration for elderly 80 to 85 years old;

c) 90 years old, 95 years old and 100 years old or older: special longevity celebration.

d) In case of organizing a joint celebration of life for elderly people of many different ages, the general content of the title is: longevity celebration

2. Longevity congratulations and celebrations of the elderly

a) Level of gifts for the elderly in longevity congratulations and celebrations

- The 100-year-old elderly person was wished a long life by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and given gifts including 5 meters of silk fabric and 700,000 VND in cash;

- Elderly people who are 90 years old are wished a long life by the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province or centrally run city and are given gifts including in kind worth 150,000 VND and 500,000 VND in cash;

The above spending level is the minimum level. Based on the ability to balance the local budget and the actual situation, the People's Council of the province or centrally run city may consider and decide on a spending level higher than the level prescribed in this Circular; At the same time, consider and decide according to authority the level of gifts for the elderly at the age of 70, 75, 80, 85, 95 years and over 100 years old based on the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee;

What is reduction of ticket prices and service charges for the elderly?

Pursuant to Article 5 of Decree 06/2011/ND-CP regulating reduction of ticket prices and service charges for a number of services as follows:

Reduction of ticket prices and service charges for a number of services

1. The elderly may enjoy at least 15% reduction of ticket prices or service charges when traveling by passenger ship, train or aircraft.

2. The elderly may enjoy at least 20% reduction of ticket prices or service charges upon their visits to cultural or historical relics, museums and scenic places; their physical training or sport practice at physical training and sport establishments where tickets are sold or service charges are collected.

3. In order to enjoy ticket price and service charge reduction under Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article, the elderly shall produce their people's identity cards or other valid papers proving they are elderly.

4. Service-providing agencies, organizations and individuals shall issue separate price reduction tickets for the elderly.

5. Depending on practical conditions, ministers, heads of sectors or central organizations', chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities (below referred collectively to as provincial- level People's Committees) shall decide ticket price and service charge reduction levels within their competence under Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article.

Thus, reduction of ticket prices and service charges for the elderly is:

- 15% when participating in traffic by passenger ship, train or aircraft.

- 20% when visiting cultural or historical relics, museums and scenic places; Exercise and play sports at sports facilities that sell tickets or service charges.
